Zac Guevara
Executive Vice President, Capital International Research Inc. (Retired)
Zac Guevara is a Chartered Financial Analyst who retired in 2009 to more actively work in the community after serving as an investment analyst, research director, board member, and executive vice president with Capital International Research, Inc. He joined Capital in 1992 as a participant in “The Associates Program” after graduating from Harvard University with an AB in government. As an investment analyst, his research coverage included the transportation, newspaper, Internet media, education, and homebuilding industries.
Zac currently serves on the board of the California Community Foundation and the Latino Community Foundation and has served in the past on the board of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (past chair), Para Los Niños (past chair), The California Endowment (pas chair), Homeboy Industries, Self Help Graphics & Art, KIPP – Los Angeles, Communities In Schools of Los Angeles, and I Have a Dream Foundation – Los Angeles. He also is on the Hispanic Scholarship Fund's Los Angeles Advisory Council and a member of the Latino Community Foundation Los Angeles Giving Circle.
