Call for Proposals: Impact Evaluation of Communities In Schools Model of Integrated Student Supports

The Communities In Schools® (CIS®) National Office invites proposals for a third-party evaluation of model impact.

At CIS, we surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. Through a trained, professional, school‐based site coordinator, CIS brings community resources into schools to empower success for all students by removing barriers for vulnerable students at risk of dropping out and by creating more equitable learning environments. The CIS model leverages evidence, relationships, and local resources to keep kids in school and on the path to graduation.

Through this third-party evaluation, CIS National seeks to understand the impact of the CIS model on key outcomes for students, schools, and systems, in addition to understanding the effects of variability in model fidelity and context, and testing the CIS theory of change.
