Stock Donations

Communities In Schools (CIS) is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization and gratefully accepts donations of public securities to assist in carrying out its mission. If you wish to make such a donation, please do one of the following:

  1.  Have a stock certificate issued in the name of Communities In Schools, Inc. and sent to Resource Development Department, Communities In Schools, Inc., 2345 Crystal Drive, Suite 801 Arlington, VA 22202.
  2. Arrange with your broker or financial institution to have the stock transferred to the account of Communities In Schools, Inc. For the details on how to effect a transfer, please contact the Resource Development Department at stockinfo@cisnet.org or 703-518-2544.
