Partners

 

  • Christian Faith Fellowship | The CFF Men’s Group meets with and mentors young males at E. L. Wright Middle School. The Men’s group has been committed to working with our students for two years.
  • Community Mediation Center | The CMC provides trainings in communications and conflict resolutions to our students, preparing them for relationship building and communicating in the future.
  • Corporation For National and Community Service | The CNCS provides Communities In Schools of the Midlands with AmeriCorps VISTAs. VISTAs are volunteers who work to help non profits build capacity.
  • Midlands Technical College | CIS-M has formed a partnership with the human services program at Midlands Technical College. This program provides Communities In Schools of the Midlands with skilled volunteers and interns.
  • Panera Bead Co. | Panera provides fresh baked good to the CIS School at The Department of Juvenile Justice in order to support the programming for the students that we serve, “behind the fence”.
  • Richland School District Two | Richland 2 is the host district for two of our sites. Dent Middle school and E. L. Wright Middle School house the sites and support our site coordinator in meeting the needs of the students we serve.
  • Stadium Suites Student Housing | Stadium Suites participated in the “Tick or Treat for DJJ” Program, donating snacks to help support the programming to support the CIS-School at DJJ.
  • SCETV | The South Carolina Education Television Corporation supported the Communities In Schools of the Midlands School Supply Drive by donating approximately $2000 worth of supplies.
  • Zonta Women’s Group | The women of Zonta act at mentors to our female students at E.L. Wright Middle school. They work to instill values and promote growth in the lives of our students.
